Tungsten-Rhenium wire is used for heating elements in high temperature
furnaces, thermocouples and in electronics. Its advantage is its
ability to maintain greater ductility compared to tungsten after
exposure to extremely high temperatures.

Tungsten-rhenium is fabricated into rod and
bars to meet the needs of the high tech industry. These rods can
be produced in a variety of sizes, lengths and diameters in metric
or English units. Diameters range up to 4.00".
We produce tungsten-rhenium sheet and plate
in an alloyed form of W-Re 25%. Sheet is used for a variety of
applications when extreme strength and excellent corrosion resistance
is required. The addition of rhenium to tungsten provides a loner
life for components.
Sizes can be custom made to your specifications. Contact us for
