Tungsten-Rhenium Alloys
Tungsten-Rhenium’s unique quality is its ductility. Unlike pure tungsten, tungsten-rhenium (W-Re) maintains a much greater ductility due to its rhenium content. Long-life light bulbs are a good example for this property.

Our tungsten-rhenium (W-Re) products are offered in rod, bar, sheet and plate forms. Additionally, our well-known wire products are available in four standard compositions:

  • W-Re 3%
  • W-Re 5%
  • W-Re 25%
  • W-Re 26%

We can custom-formulate additional compositions to your specifications. Powders are offered in a full range of mesh sizes and are available in composite, spherical and spherical-alloyed forms.
